"The Material Gatherer's Isekai Travelogue" is a Japanese light novel by Masuo Kinoko. It began serialization on the novel投稿サイト "Alpha Polis - Cyber Floating City -" in July 2016, and won the Grand Prize and Reader's Prize in the company's "9th Fantasy Novel Grand Prize." After revisions in January 2017, it was published by the same company, and as of September 2025, the series has exceeded 2.1 million copies in total.
