ACIDMAN is amazing because of the dramatic production and the matching beautiful, yet deep, vocals of Mr. Nobu. This time, the songs were long, so although there weren't many tracks, the overall feeling was dramatic and grand. Music festivals aren't just about hard rock. This grandeur, with lyrics that resonate deeply, is what sets them apart from other artists and makes me want to listen to them so badly. The slightly retro song 'Aka-daidai' (Red-Orange) is especially pleasant. 'Aru Shoumei' (A Certain Proof) and 'Sekai ga Owaru Yoru' (The Night the World Ends) have lyrics that pierce the heart with Nobu's screaming vocals in the chorus. This is my personal interpretation of what makes ACIDMAN so great. That's why when ACIDMAN is at a festival, I can't help but listen to them!!
