DJ, selector, and party organizer. AKIRAM EN began DJing in the mid-90s. From edgy dance sets that mix leftfield techno and avant-garde in accordance with floor manners, to deep listening sets inspired by obscure sounds, his performances shake the auditory and physical senses. While always conscious of the dance floor, he guides the audience to an experience that deeply perceives music. In the spring of 2018, he released his first mix CD, "Mekano 1974-92," on BLACK SMOKER RECORDS. He is deeply trusted by diggers and dope party heads around the world, and has performed at leading Japanese outdoor festivals and techno parties such as "rural," "Future Terror," and "MNML SSG." In recent years, he has expanded his activities to local cities and overseas, and is constantly traveling around independent and cutting-edge scenes based in Tokyo. In addition to being a resident DJ at Hachioji SHeLTeR's "SCI-FI" (every second Friday of the month), he leads Deep Listening Lab "ideala" (every Thursday) at Hatagaya forestlimit, which consists of a group of diggers. It is becoming a scene as a rare "deep listening party" in the world. Furthermore, in addition to Japan's leading diggers and DJs, he also invites artists who come to Japan to organize and plan various parties on an irregular basis.
