Andy Garvey

Over the past decade, Andy Garvey has steadily become a leading figure in the Australian music scene. As a producer, radio host, boss of the label Pure Space, and co-founder of the event collective NECTAR, her passion and influence on the local scene are undeniable. Her debut EP, "Eternal Recurrence" in 2019, was praised by Resident Advisor as "a confident fusion of techno and electro." In January 2023, she released her fourth EP, "Relativity," on Pure Space, receiving a recommendation from Resident Advisor. In August 2021, Andy completed a five-year run as the host of Triple J's Mix Up every Saturday, where she consistently captivated listeners with her musical taste and inquisitiveness. In 2017, Pure Space started as an FBi Radio program, and in 2019, she established Pure Space as a label, focusing on electronic music by local artists that transcends the boundaries of club sounds and home listening. While based in Berlin in 2023, she hosts Pure Space monthly on Refuge Worldwide.
