Hailing from South Africa, a mecca of house music, DESIREE is a dynamic and vibrant selector. Driven by a deep passion for exploring diverse forms of electronica, she transforms her extensive knowledge and passion into unforgettable performances. Constantly moving forward, she has graced the cover of DJ Mag North America and was selected as a “Future Star” by the magazine. Furthermore, she has built a solid track record, including an appearance on BBC Radio 1's renowned Essential Mix series, a stunning set at Boiler Room, and a residency at the prestigious online radio station Rinse FM. Her unique sound has led her to some of the world's leading clubs and festivals, including DC-10, fabric, Glastonbury, Cercle, DGTL, and Lost Village. She also hosts her own party, MMINO, cultivating her brand while building a unique philosophy and community. While rooted in the rich rhythms unique to South Africa, DESIREE's appeal lies in her eclectic sensibility. Her playing style freely traverses from deep house to techno, and even more soulful tracks. On the production side, she released her debut EP “Femme Tech” in June 2022 on Jackie Queens' Bae Electronica. Since then, she has reworked Keinemusik's "Pussy Power" (feat. Nomi Ruiz) and LP Giobbi's "All I Need," and has even remixed the South African jazz classic Salaelo Selota's "Thrrr... Phaaa!"
