DJ HIKARU

Born on October 27, 1973, on Tokunoshima Island, Kagoshima Prefecture, DJ HIKARU graduated from high school on Amami Oshima Island and moved to Tokyo. Since being entrusted with regular DJ gigs at clubs in Shinjuku and other areas, he has played at various venues. From the age of 24, he served as a regular DJ at "GRASS ROOTS" in Higashi-Koenji for 12 years. Since 1997, he has also been active as part of the unit "BLAST HEAD" with Dr. TETSU. In January 2010, he moved from Tokyo to Okinawa. He is highly trusted by those around him as a DJ who can handle any setting, from large-scale outdoor festivals to underground parties.
