I went to see DREAMS COME TRUE after a long time. G5 block, row 7. The stage was a simple center stage with wings extending to the left and right. They moved around on what I'd describe as a 'duck coaster' on those wings. The lighting was simple too. The drummer was apparently famous, because they had quite a long solo part. Since it was a "Ura-Wan" concert (an 'Underground Wonderland' concert, focusing on lesser-known tracks), they didn't play the famous songs. However, I checked the setlist beforehand and saw they were playing a lot of songs from "Sing or Die," so I thought I'd check it out. Honestly, I felt out of place. I've seen a few of their past concerts (just a few), but this time, without exception, it felt like "for better or for worse, or for worse," DREAMS COME TRUE. They also had a lot of MC (talk segments). I think the first time I saw them was the "Love Unlimited" tour, and my impression afterwards hasn't changed much since then. What impressed me again, though it's not really a big deal, is that many artists, like B'z, do anniversary or best-of-album-style event concerts every five years or so. DREAMS COME TRUE, not only has Wonderland, but also links it with an event called Ura-Wan as a series, and turns it into a business scheme. They put older, more minor songs in the setlist, and take various approaches to their fans. I feel that they're really great when it comes to business. The concert itself today was, to be honest, really boring for me.
