I'd listened to her music before, but this was my first time seeing eill live. To be honest, she's the type of musician whose live vocals are many times better than her recorded music. I felt like she has the power to convert people who aren't her fans into fans during a co-billed performance. I felt she had the best stage presence of all the performers today. I'd like to hear her with a full band setup instead of just a keyboard set sometime. If possible, it would be amazing to hear her with a brass section in a venue with good acoustics like Blue Note. She's also good at engaging the crowd, and considering she'll be moving on to bigger venues in the future, now might be the chance to see her up close.
