This was my second time seeing fcp live. They were an artist I'd wanted to see at Billboard Live Tokyo, so my wish came true. The live performance featured a grand piano, and while the piano sound felt a little subdued, the performance was still wonderful. Plus, with the addition of four string instruments, it was just incredibly beautiful. I've expanded my musical tastes from pop to rock to jazz, so I don't have much knowledge of classical music. Until now, I didn't really understand the appeal of string instruments like the violin, but this was the first time I heard string instruments live, and their tone was so emotional and beautiful. I'm sure the arrangement is excellent. The day was actually Tanabata (Star Festival). There were no bamboo branches or strips of paper for wishes, but the beautiful songs felt like countless shooting stars falling in my heart. I felt truly fulfilled. I'll definitely go again next time!
