小林克也 & ザ・ナンバーワン・バンド
Katsuya would often forget the lyrics, but it was all part of the charm. They started with 50's tunes. The Number One Band's songs in the first set were selected from "Tai." He sang while touching on episodes about Yuya. The first guests were Yukihiro Takahashi and Takanobu Fujii. After reminiscing about "Multiplies," which they created with YMO, they played "Tighten Up" and David Bowie's "Let's Dance." Just hearing this made the trip worthwhile. Following Keichi Suzuki and Ryo Mei Shirai's well-coordinated comical songs was Makoto. Makoto responded kindly to Katsuya's MC. His guitar was also incredibly cool. After Masatoshi Nakamura's "Koibito mo Nureru Machikado" created a Showa-era pop mood, they brought it back with The Beatles, and then the second set began. Makoto Saito appeared! He sang his biggest hit, "Roppongi no Ben-chan," as well as "FUKUYAMA" and "Furueru Kimi ni ~Tears For Fears~" with emotion. They finished with "Kentucky no Azuma." The encore was "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" with everyone participating! The sight of guest guitarists Keichi, Yoshimi, Makoto, and Makoto lined up and playing was so luxurious. Spurred on by Katsuya, Yukihiro's drumming was also on point. Irresistible.
