Kulage (SECTION NINE) is a DJ duo formed in Fukuoka in 2015 by STANLLIE and BARBIE. Their DJ style, which fuses a solid bassline, meticulous rhythms, and emotional melodies based on Techno music, creates a groove-filled atmosphere and transforms the dance floor into a vortex of excitement. They have successfully performed DJ sets in the UK, Croatia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, captivating audiences beyond national borders. Since 2022, they have been based in Tokyo, performing at various club events. Their self-organized techno party, "SECTION NINE," is held bimonthly in the VIP Floor of WOMB Tokyo and will celebrate its second anniversary in 2025. Regarding their music production, their outstanding quality has led to releases from the prestigious Techno label Tronic, reaching #1 on Beatport's Techno (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic) Release Chart and #2 on the Single Chart. They are also preparing for a release from Unity Records, a label supported by world-renowned DJs and producers. Other tracks have been listed on the Techno (Peak Time) Chart and Hard Techno Chart. Artists such as Christian Smith, D-Unity, PAN-POT, UMEK, and Filterheadz have featured Kulage's music, showcasing their talent as artists.
