山本恭司
While wandering around Rukawa in search of a good restaurant, I happened to see a familiar name on a poster in front of a venue and decided to go that day. The small venue was packed. As expected, the age range was around my age or older. There seemed to be regulars and acquaintances, but surprisingly there were many female fans as well. The live performance consisted of an acoustic solo performance in the first part, and a full-on electric guitar performance in the second part. There were some nostalgic songs, which was nice. The guitar playing goes without saying, but his vocals have improved too? It's been almost 40 years now, but I fondly remember the time when I was a first-year high school student and a senior who played drums gave me "Signal Fire" and asked me to play it, and I desperately tried to copy it by ear. Back then, BOWWOW had an outstanding sense of speed on the drums and excellent guitar technique, and was a leading Japanese hard rock band (though Murasaki, Creation, Carmen Maki & OZ, etc., were already around). I liked their 2nd album, but I always felt that the vocals were lacking... Next time, I'd like to see a performance with the band, recreating that album starting with "Prelude." By the way, I won a signed poster in a rock-paper-scissors tournament! (^.^)/
