Originally, this was supposed to be the rescheduled date after Eri Hiramatsu contracted COVID last year, but it was suddenly canceled. I found out about the live performance a week ago and remembered hearing Mari Sugimasu sing live for the first time in a long time at Takashi Matsumoto's anniversary live at the Budokan last year. I was surprised that her sweet voice hadn't changed, so I went to the live performance, my first since Mari Sugimasu & Dreamers. I got a ticket at the last minute, but it was a great seat in the third row from the front. It was my first time at this venue, but I knew the sound would be good as soon as I walked in. And the softness of the chairs was amazing! (With drink holder & umbrella holder) I thought I'd be able to watch the show in a relaxed manner since the audience was older, but I couldn't fully enjoy the live performance with completely soft chairs that made it impossible to stand from the very first song, lol. The setlist included the top 10 songs based on votes, but it felt like there were a lot of songs from "Stargazer"? I guess that's because it's the best-selling album? Also, the two songs from Niagara Triangle were quite good in the top 10, I thought. And what was lucky about this live performance was that I was surprised to see Yuko Takahashi, who plays percussion for GOMES THE HITMAN, as a support member. I secretly spent 50% of the time watching the percussionist, lol.
