Unlike his usual solo performances with just a guitar or full band rock concerts, this was a superb concerto featuring Anbe's famous songs, colored with a more pop and beautiful melody, played with Kenichi Mitsuda's piano and Yuki Shinozaki's cello. Mitsutoshi Anbe, a global artist, not just a local one, stood on the stage that day. To a person from the countryside like me, he seemed dazzling, but I was pleasantly surprised that the arrangements of all the songs were faithful to the album and played with a slightly more glamorous essence, so I didn't feel too far removed from my usual place. Just hearing the intro, the audience's feelings of, "Ah, I've wanted to hear this song forever!" and Anbe's excitement riding on the high-quality accompaniment deepened the emotion even further. And as always, the audience naturally conveyed their emotion with cheers, applause, and active reactions, creating a sense of unity with the stage—a flavor unique to Anbe's live performances. Like a gentle breeze blowing through the metropolis of Tokyo, the lyrical music created by the great man of Ihatov encouraged and healed people's hearts.
