I'll skip the details of the live performance itself, as it was broadcast on TV and will probably be released on DVD, but suffice it to say, it was fun. The calls during the songs were easy enough for even beginners to pick up, and the members moved all over the stadium, so there were plenty of opportunities to see them up close. But more than anything, the sense of unity among the huge crowd was extraordinary, and once you experience something like that, you're hooked, you know? Just as I thought. As a guest, Shigeru Matsuzaki sang "Ai no Memory" with passion on the elevating stage right next to us. From now on, every time I see his inhumanly dark face, I'll probably remember the Seibu Dome on this day, filled with the light of glow sticks. It was a whirlwind of 4 hours and 30 minutes.
