I'm a recent newcomer to Nothing's Carved In Stone, having discovered them through guitarist Ikata's support work on tour with another artist. This was my first time seeing them live. My ticket number was quite late, so I was supposed to be enjoying the show quietly and thoroughly from a good vantage point at the back of the floor... but! The sheer speed and intensity from the opening was incredible! Vo. Tacchan's powerful and lustrous vocals. The band's overwhelming sense of unity was unreal. I was blown away from the very beginning... Honestly, I was a little anxious going in, feeling underprepared. But most of the people around me were also attending solo, and everyone was completely caught up in the excitement! It was impressive how everyone maintained good manners while rocking out in their own space, swaying and raising their arms. We sang together, danced, shouted, and even headbanged, haha. The MC segments were full of erotic jokes, which were hilarious! Tacchan mentioned that the venue was so hot that it was generating water vapor... The stage and audience were completely united, and he seemed satisfied. "I wonder if we can surpass this...? ...Another wall has been built!" *This is just from memory, so the MC might not be exactly like this. Tacchan saying that really touched my heart. I just saw them, but I'm already looking forward to the next time. It's been a long time since I've encountered a band like this. Budokan... should I make a trip to see them?
