This was my first RADWIMPS live performance in 7 years, since the "Road to Catharsis Tour 2018." The show opened with "Futari Goto." When I saw the setlist before the tour started, I was shocked because I was sure the opening song would be "Tamamono." Unusually, it was the single version of "Futari Goto (Isshou ni Ichido no Warp Ver.)" and not the warp version. It's been a while since I've heard the outro not being too long. M2. "Maa F**ka." So cool!! Many of the songs from "ANTI ANTI GENERATION" are cool even when listening normally, but they are on a different level of coolness when heard live. M3. "NEVER EVER ENDER." I like it a lot. The last time I saw RADWIMPS live was before this song came out, so I had always wanted to hear it live. Following "NEVER EVER ENDER" and "Masu.", they played standard, crowd-pleasing songs. M5. "World's End Girl Friend." The song started with an incredibly cool bassline, like the intro to "Yayu." It's a song from "ANTI ANTI GENERATION" that I appreciate more and more each time I listen to it, like a slow-burning delight. M6. "Tummy." Just like with "Tamamono," why did they cut the last melody? That's my only minor complaint. In this song and "25 Ko-me no Senshokutai," Yojiro sometimes sings in English. It's hard to sing! M7. was "me me she." After listening to the recent "BACK TO THE LIVE HOUSE TOUR 2023" recording, I thought the call-and-response with the audience at the end was great. Songs like "Futari Goto" and this one, which have call-and-response sections, are even more fun live. M8. "Tamamono" is just such a great song for live performances. It's so much fun to listen to. A curtain came down at the back of the stage, creating a space like the music video. M9. "Bouningen" had to be restarted because they made a mistake. After "Bouningen," a video was shown, looking back at the past 20 years. At the end of the video, there was a handwritten message saying, "Thank you for finding RADWIMPS." I almost cried. Thank you for delivering the sound and poetry of the band "RADWIMPS." Following that message, they performed "Kokuhaku." That's too much! Please don't deliver so much love. My capacity is full. Yojiro said, "I want to show you something," and put on a fluffy brown hat. "Does anyone recognize this?" From here, there's only one song they could play. It's the hat he wore in the music video for "Oshakashama." It felt like the battle during the song was longer than in previous live performances. Without missing a beat, they went into "DARMA GRAND PRIX." I'm so used to listening to the live version that the CD version, which goes smoothly at the beginning, feels strange to me. I really love how, during live performances of songs like "Futari Goto" and this one, all the music disappears, and there's a moment of silence in that vast space. Very much. "Oshakashama" to "DARMA GRAND PRIX" was an amazing setlist. Following that was "DASAI DAZAI." Wow, this song is so cool. Blue flames went up, and I realized how great it is live. "Sparkle" was the short version, leading into "Grand Escape." Certainly, if you're looking back at 20 years, you can't leave out songs from the works of Makoto Shinkai. M17. "Toaru Haru no Hi." [I'm glad I did something like being in a rock band] Is this the weight of 20 years? Thank you for continuing this far. Each word, each note, was savored. At the end of the song, the lyrics [Kakinaguri tsudzukete juu yo nen no hibi ga (More than ten years of scribbling)] changed to [Nijuu nen no hibi ga (Twenty years of days)]. I felt the thoughts of these 20 years in those lyrics, which were displayed large on the main monitor. M18. "Hitsuzetsu." The weight of this song is completely different from listening to the CD version. Yojiro's feelings were packed into each word, and it was overwhelming. At the end, [Ikiteriya iroiro aru yo na (If you live, you'll have all sorts of things)] the accompaniment gradually disappeared, and finally, it was a cappella. That's cruel. I'm very weak against things like that. The guitar outro was similar to a lament or scream. It was too good, the world where sound disappeared until the applause rang out after the screaming. The main set ended. I had seen the setlist beforehand, so I knew it was "25 Ko-me no Senshokutai." Hmm? The sound playing before the song doesn't sound like "25 Ko-me" at all?? !? Unexpectedly, it was "Yuushinron" here. Why?? It's a song that would be very exciting live, and I think it's very good to end the main set, but... They aren't playing "25 Ko-me," which is their major debut song?? Is that even possible? While wondering that, the mystery would be revealed in EN2. "Seikai" ended at EN1, leading to the MC for EN2. "We have a special guest only for today," said Yojiro. I thought someone from the tribute would come. "RADWIMPS..." What?? Time stopped. "This is Satoshi Yamaguchi, drummer of RADWIMPS." I see, so that's why the last song of the main set was "Yuushinron." If they didn't play "25 Ko-me no Senshokutai" here, when would they play it? Welcoming Satoshi, who returned to the stage after 10 years, they performed "25 Ko-me." When I found out about RAD, Satoshi was already on hiatus or about to be. I had never seen RAD with all four members, but even so, it brought tears to my eyes. In various parts of the song, the drums lead. Every time I saw Satoshi leading that part on the monitor, I cried. After performing "25 Ko-me," Satoshi said, "I've only played one song, but can I say 'I'm back'?" Of course, you can!!! Welcome back!!! EN3. was "Iindesu ka?" and EN4. The last song of this tour was "Kaishin no Ichigeki." It's a song that makes me think, until I see RAD again, I'll be happy, and I'll live. I worked hard every day for this live performance. I went to the live performance, and I saw RAD. Because of this live performance, I feel like I can live from tomorrow too. I reaffirmed that I am living because of music. It was a really good live performance. I'm glad I went.
