Rio Kawamoto

Born in Yokohama. Started DJing around 2007. After engaging in various genres, she became devoted to dance music based on Techno/House. In May 2015, she released her first EP "Lemmings EP" from Sakadat Record in London. Since then, she has released works mainly through European labels in Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia, and other countries. As a DJ, she has not only performed at various locations in Tokyo, but also expanded her activities to include appearances at Elevator Club and 44KW in Shanghai, Studio 9 in Taiwan, and the Epizode Festival held in Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam in January 2017. In 2020, she released the 12-inch EP "Chabu" from Teffebu, operated by the notable Mexican collective buffete. In 2024, she participated in a V.A. (Various Artists) project released by COWBOY FAMILY RECORDS, to which she belongs.
