SARD UNDERGROUND

I encountered SARD UNDERGROUND while listening to and watching ZARD's CDs and YouTube videos, and I attended their live performance. It was a shame that the guitarist left, but the support guitarist's performance was wonderful, making it a positive experience overall. They played a mix of ZARD covers and original songs, about half and half, and the live sound was more pleasant than the CD recording. The vocals were clear and didn't get lost in the performance, and I could properly feel the bass's undulation. This must be thanks to the skills of the sound mixer. The audience was mostly male, which confirmed the idol-like appeal of the three members. I think they should go on a nationwide live house tour to gain more fans. As an aside, I would like them to replace the men's toilet with a washlet with deodorizing function. It's stingy and outdated for a leading live house in Japan. It was nice to hear personal stories from the members during the MC. Although the performance lacked excitement due to the ban on cheering and standing because of COVID-19, I was satisfied because I could listen to it carefully instead.
