柴田聡子
Born in Sapporo City in 1986. She started her music career in 2010 with the advice of her mentor. She has released five original albums to date, up to her latest work, "Ganbare! Melody." In October, she released her first live band album, "SATOKO SHIBATA TOUR 2019 'GANBARE! MELODY' FINAL at LIQUIDROOM," performed by her band, "Satoko Shibata in FIRE." In 2016, she won a new writer's award for contemporary poetry with her first collection of poems, "Sabaku." She is currently writing a column for the magazine "Bungakukai," and her unique linguistic power, which goes beyond just lyrics, is attracting attention. In 2017, she appeared in the NHK drama "Yurusanai to Iu Bouryoku ni Tsuite Kangae Yo" as the main character's sister, demonstrating that her expression is not limited to any single medium. She is scheduled to release a 4-track EP, "Slow In," in July 2020.
