I have absolutely no knowledge of classical music, but I was fortunate enough to win a live monitor ticket, so I eagerly went to the venue. This was my first time learning about this venue, located directly in front of the Ueno Station Park Exit, and I learned that it is a venerable hall usually used for classical and opera performances. The sound I heard tonight was undeniably wonderful. I was a bit tired of hearing poorly sung karaoke versions of "Subaru" and "Sarai," which is repeatedly sung on 24-Hour Television, but when the original artist sings them, they're amazing after all. Everyone in the audience was completely blown away by his overwhelming vocal ability. When a grand orchestra and chorus are added to that, the magnitude of the emotion goes without saying. The fact that a storm of applause didn't stop for more than 10 minutes is the most eloquent testament to that.
