The third concert in November was SIRUP, whom I hadn't seen in a year. I was worried if he could fill the Budokan since I had only seen SIRUP in small venues, but it was so packed that I felt stupid for even worrying about it. I rushed to the Budokan in a taxi after finishing watching Hitomitoi's 20th-anniversary performance at Billboard Tokyo. I thought I would miss the first two or three songs, but I entered during "Need You Bad." When I checked later, it was the 7th song? Even though I was 20 minutes late, he had already performed 7 songs? How much was crammed in with no MC? The lack of a break, combined with the vastly different spaces of Billboard and Budokan, meant it took me until "CRAZY" to get used to the atmosphere. I vowed never to do a concert hop again, but I have to do it two more times this month. Once I gradually blended into the atmosphere, I was hooked. Bouncing, swaying, and singing inside my mask, I had a pleasant time. The support members, a family gathering, were also providing a stable sound, and I felt he had assembled a wonderful team. Even though they weren't full songs, packing 29 songs into 120 minutes with minimal MC showed how strong SIRUP's enthusiasm for the Budokan was and how generous he was with his fans. It was great to be able to participate in the beginning of a new chapter after the end of SIRUP's first chapter.
