A singer-songwriter and performer. He began his career in 2002 with Spinna B-ill & the cavemans. They gained overwhelming support from reggae listeners with "Lion no Ko (Child of the Lion)", but disbanded in 2005 to much regret. After that, he worked with Simply Red guitarist Kenji Jammer before releasing three albums as a solo singer under the name "Spinna B-ILL." He performs on various stages from festivals to clubs, utilizing freely transforming styles ranging from DJ sets to acoustic performances and full band arrangements. His bold yet delicate, unique, and energetic performances captivate audiences and have earned him solid support from a wide range of fans. Despite his diverse background in reggae, soul, funk, and hip-hop, when Spinna B-ILL takes the mic, genre boundaries cease to exist. Not only his appearance, but also his voice and singing ability are remarkably non-Japanese, while the nostalgic melodies and lyrics delivered with a unique flow also fascinate fans. He can truly be called a one-and-only singer.
