スガシカオ
I was careless, thinking I might get a little bored since it was a solo performance. But it was a stage that went by in the blink of an eye, which made me understand why he's been active at the forefront for so long. His raw voice was cleaner and more powerful than what you hear on recordings, and his guitar playing was amazing. He made full use of loops and rhythm machines, and it wasn't the folky style I associated with solo performances; I felt a strong sense of rhythm and funk. Mr. Shikao, every song has such wonderful lyrics. I felt a strong sense of insight, inclusiveness, and self-criticism, not the kind of tension and pretension you feel with Motoharu Sano (and I mean that as a compliment). I'd like to hear him in a band style again. Thank you for the early Christmas present!!
