The undisputed master of flow! Born and residing in Osaka, this reggae Deejay aims to empower people through music, delivering positive messages in a melodious style. He discovered reggae through BOB MARLEY and became engrossed in dancehall at Club LABRISH in Umeda, Osaka. In the mid-1990s, at the age of 18, he formed RIDDIM CREW with JUMBO MAATCH and others, starting his career as a selector, MC, and Deejay. The following year, he visited Jamaica for the first time with BOXER KID, captivated by the overwhelming power of music and people, and decided to pursue the path of reggae. Since 1998, he has been active as a member of MIGHTY JAM ROCK. He has been releasing albums annually since 2001 with the three-man unit comprised of JUMBO MAATCH and BOXER KID from the same crew, completing the 20th album in 2020. His first album is "3 THE HARDWAY," and the latest is "3 THE HARDWAY XX." In 2007, he established his own label, "BACKYAADIE," and began composing and producing music. He has released compilation albums "BackYaadie’s Jam vol.1 / vol.2" and provides riddims as a trackmaker. EXPRESS's "Mogura no Uta" (Mole Song), produced in 2011, was a huge hit, and the music video released on YouTube has exceeded 10 million views. He also opened his own TAKAFIN a.k.a BackYaadie channel, actively publishing videos. In recent years, he has been focusing on acoustic live performances that express reggae with live instruments, pursuing music in a multifaceted way. He aspires to be a source of courage for young people aspiring to follow the path of reggae, telling them, "You can do music forever."
