The Birthday

The Birthday's live performances are amazing as always! I found out through online news an hour before the show that the Hokkaido performance had been canceled, making today the first day of the tour. I also learned that a new EP will be released in December, raising my expectations even higher. And they delivered! The first song was a new one! The remaining three songs were also part of the set! Every song was excellent! Absolutely the best. This set had many lengthy songs with strong messages. Perhaps that's why the new songs stood out even more. For a while, Chiba-san didn't do any MCs, and I was worried he might be feeling unwell. But midway through, things livened up with the 'Kawasaki Stadium' stories, and Chiba-san even made a slightly humorous MC, saying, 'Is everyone here? It's like a game with no audience.' It was fun. In the end, I was relieved to see Chiba-san's usual smile. The other members also left the stage with smiles on their faces. I'm looking forward to listening to the new EP repeatedly!
