TYO GQOM

Japan's first GQOM party crew, playing contemporary African music centered around "GQOM," a dance music genre born in Durban, South Africa. KΣITO, who had been incorporating GQOM into his sets and music from its early stages of recognition, gathered members specializing in contemporary African music. The crew consists of five DJs: KΣITO, K8, mitokon, Hiro "BINGO" N’waternbee, and DJ MORO. Their unique sets, which go beyond GQOM to include genres like "Singeli" (Tanzania's high-speed dance music), Afro House, and Techno, combined with an irresistible groove and heated atmosphere, create a novel party experience that has garnered attention across various locations. In addition to their regular main events at their home base, Forestlimit in Hatagaya, they are invited to various parties, making them a crew currently in the spotlight.
