Yo Nishijima

Yo Nishijima began his DJ career in 2016. Examining a single sound from all angles, he manipulates sounds that exist in this world with complete freedom, steadily making his presence known in the Tokyo scene. Raised in a musical family and with a background as a trumpeter, his uniquely refined style has been dubbed "unconscious Balearic" by music producer Yuki Kawamura, inviting the audience into a one-of-a-kind world. He blends a wide range of sounds, from house music to techno, into a single set, unfolding an original story. At the end of 2020, he successfully launched Crew Laboratory at Womb Tokyo, fusing skateboarding and music, and began to be recognized as an organizer. Daikanyama Débris is his home base, and he performs at clubs and bars throughout Tokyo, as well as expanding to the Kansai region in 2021. Moreover, his international community ensures that the dance floor is always overflowing with a worldwide mix of people.
