This marks YONA YONA WEEKENDERS' third live performance this year. All of them have been in a supporting role, and each time they've had the important job of being the opening act. Last time at Shinjuku Loft, the sound was terrible, and both the bands and the audience suffered, but this time, it was a stable YYW performance with excellent sound in normal mode. You could clearly hear Erika Nishi's vocals in the chorus, and Iso-kun's mellow voice intertwined with Nishi Erika's pleasant high tones – this was truly the YONA YONA sound. For fans who attend their solo shows, the setlist might have felt orthodox, but for an audience unfamiliar with YONA YONA, perhaps even more standard songs would have been good? More than anything, they 200% fulfilled their mission as the opening act, warming up the audience, so it'll be exciting to see them explore more aggressive content for their solo shows. Also, it's a shame that Iso-kun's "Donburi Fuchi" (edge-of-the-bowl) figure wasn't on sale yet.
