YonYon is a multi-faceted creator born in Seoul and raised in Tokyo, active as a DJ, singer-songwriter, music producer, and radio personality. As a "singing DJ," she is beloved by a wide range of generations, playing a variety of BPMs with an edgy sound that is easy to listen to and dance to. She also writes songs energetically, intuitively assembling lyrics that transcend genres and languages. The lyrics, juxtaposed with a pop and addictive groove, are real and powerfully message-driven, captivating listeners around the world. She has participated as a guest artist in various scenes, including KIRINJI, Takuya Kuroda, Yaeji, and Joe Hertz. In March 2021, she released her first EP, "The Light, The Water." After the "The Link" project, which connects Japanese and Korean producers and singers through songwriting, she launched her own music label, "Peace Tree." She acts as a bridge between various scenes—Japan and Asia, the bedroom and the party floor, the underground and the mainstream—and continues to travel all over Japan while nurturing a tree of love and peace through music.
