2003年ソニーミュージックよりシングル「Believe」でシンガーとしてデビュー。 第18回日本ゴールドディスク大賞「ニュー・アーティスト・オブ・ザ・イヤー」受賞。現在までオリコンアルバムウィークリーチャート1位を2度獲得。 全世界で大人気のアニメ『機動戦士ガンダム』シリーズ、『機動戦士ガンダム SEED』と、その続編『機動戦士ガンダム SEED DESTINY』のOP&EDを過去最多の計4曲担当する。 L.A.を中心としたアメリカでのダンスパフォーマンスが高く評価され海外ツアーも展開。 まさにワールドワイドな活躍を果たす。  近年ではブロードウェイミュージカル『Kinky Boots』など舞台作品に数多く出演。映画出演など女優としての才能も発揮している。 In 2003, she made her debut with the single “Believe” released by Sony Music.
