The Wailers are an internationally known band that was first formed in 1962 in Jamaica, with Bunny Wailer, Peter Tosh, and Bob Marley. Along with the 3 core members, early members included Junior Braithwaite, Beverley Kelso, and Cherry Smith. Today, the band has evolved. Following the departure of Tosh and Bunny in 1974, the band became known as Bob Marley and the Wailers, featuring brothers Aston "Family Man" Barrett (bass) and Carlton Barrett (drums), who had joined in 1969. Today, The Wailers continue to perform and release music, touring internationally while preserving the legacy of Bob Marley and the Wailers under the leadership of Aston Barrett Jr. Includes Mitchell Brunings (vocals), Aston Barrett Jr., Owen "Dreadie" Reid, Josh David Barrett, Glen DaCosta, Andres Lopez, and Junior Jazz.
