Suntory is a general term for a group of companies and a brand centered around Suntory Holdings Limited, headquartered in Kita-ku, Osaka, Japan, which manufactures and sells alcoholic beverages, beer, and soft drinks. While its main business is alcoholic beverages, it has established a certain position in soft drinks since the 1980s. Formerly, the group was centered around the original Suntory Co., Ltd., but it transitioned to a holding company system on April 1, 2009.
