Born in Hyogo around the end of the Showa era and raised in Yokohama, ARARE is a DJ with a strong conviction. After graduating junior high school, ARARE encountered reggae and, believing it to be a calling, began searching for open mic club events to perform at. Specializing in rub-a-dub style (improvisation), ARARE has achieved victory in Dee Jay clashes such as the "Osaka Dee Jay Colosseum" and "Road To Yokohama Reggae Festival 2006." With a broad perspective and flexible thinking, ARARE delivers straightforward "poetry," overwhelming and skillful "rhythms," and a distinctive "voice" that becomes addictive after just one listen. Once you've heard it, you're guaranteed to be drawn into the world of ARARE, or so ARARE believes. A favorite saying is, "Just being alive is a bonus." ● August 2007: Released first album, "Hitori Asobi VOL.0" ● December 2009: Released comeback mini-album, "Hare, Tokidoki Arare"
