UNITY SOUND is a sound system representing the US (Atlanta), Jamaica, and Japan (Yokohama), comprised of CROSS FIRE, DREADY, SUPA COOP, and BIGGA-C. Crossfire started his career as DJ Red Cross in Tampa, Florida, from 1994-1996, mainly performing as an opening act for Tampa's big sound, Poison Darts. In '96, Cross Fire and Dready (who are brothers) moved to Atlanta, leading to the establishment of UNITY SOUND and the opening of Atlanta's only Reggae record shop, "UNITY SOUNDS." From '98 to '03, they were entrusted with Atlanta's only Reggae radio program, "MORE FIRE SHOW," contributing to the Atlanta Reggae scene. The following year, in '04, Cross Fire moved to Japan, establishing their base in Yokohama. In '07, Ariff Cooper (SupaCoop) of Jamaica's top producer FRESH EAR PRODUCTION, who was originally a friend, joined the group. In '08, Bigga-C from Yokohama's JAMTEK, who had a successful Europe tour with them the previous year, joined, making them a World Wide sound to keep an eye on!
