dj tetsuya (Finedoubt Music / formerly Cyber Trance) is a DJ and creator based in Tokyo. He has gone through various genres, from Rock and Disco Sound, which influenced him in his childhood, to Hip Hop and Trance, before arriving at his current style. He has been a resident DJ at huge discos such as JULIANA'S TOKYO and velfarre. In particular, at velfarre, where he was active for 12 years since 1994, he captivated the crowd and influenced many DJs at trance/techno parties such as cyber trance, Accel, and Velocity. He not only makes guest appearances at clubs all over Japan, but also participates in big festivals at Makuhari Messe and Tokyo Big Sight. As a creator, "The Slam," released in 1994, became a club hit in Japan, and since then, he has produced numerous smash hits under various aliases such as SPARK, MADRECKS, and STUD ARROW. Since 2007, he has actively released from overseas labels in Hungary, Ukraine, Slovenia, and the Netherlands, with a diverse range of nationalities involved. In 2010, he released "Skyscraper/Mirage," a collaboration with his old friend Johan Gielen (Airscape, Svenson and Gielen), from the prestigious Dutch label Black Hole Recordings, and "Stereo Injection" from 1605 Music Therapy, a label run by Umek, one of the most important figures in the techno scene today. He also steadily releases from his own label, Finedoubt Music (formerly Doofus Traxx), and receives a lot of support from DJs and creators both in Japan and abroad.
