Kotobuki-kun first grabbed the mic in his hometown of Nara Prefecture in January 2006, calling himself "MOUNTAIN KING"! He is active mainly in the Kansai region, armed with his unique melody line and proactive approach. He honed his straightforward lyrics and gained attention for his DEEJAY CLASH championship experience and highly acclaimed LIVE SHOWs. In February 2010, he changed his name to "Kotobuki-kun" in order to evolve further! After that, as the star DEEJAY of BASS MASTER SOUND, he steadily spread his skills and popularity throughout the country, and in June 2012, his digitally released "LONG DISTANCE" became a smash hit, making him a nationwide artist! Kotobuki-kun, who made a name for himself from the Kansai area to the whole country, released two full albums, "Kotobuki-ism ~DR.BEATZ COLLECTION~" and "Deai no,,, ~"KOTOBUKI KUN" Deh yah you know!? ~", which became long-sellers! The mini-album "Ore no Kyukyoku", released in 2014 with 9 songs, reached 11th place in the Oricon Daily Ranking and became a long-seller, achieving 10,000 CD sales! The preceding single "Ore ga Yareba" reached 3rd place in the iTunes single chart! The long-awaited 3rd album "SPECIAL THANX - Arigataya -" released in 2016, reached 4th place in the iTunes album chart. The number of live attendees continued to increase, with each of the two one-man events, Arigataya Night and Omedetaya Night, attracting over 1,300 people, and the NIKOICHI GOLDEN TAG tour with HISATOMI attracting a total of over 3,000 people in 6 locations nationwide. In 2016, his first national tour, "Arigataya Night National Tour", was also sold out in various locations, attracting a total of 3,000 people. The tour final "Omedetaya Night 2017" at Zepp Namba was a great success, after which he stayed in Jamaica for 3 months. He mass-produces hit songs with his highly addictive singing voice that captivates listeners once they hear it, catchy melodies, and lyrics that reflect the streets and resonate with many.
