Hailing from Sakai Town, Ibaraki Prefecture, artist Nigi (ニギ), influenced by HipHop and Reggae he listened to since childhood, has built an original style based on his upbringing and experiences. He describes his unique style, unbound by convention, as "My genre is Nigi." In 2021, he released his 1st EP, "Lemon no Iremon." The music video for the title track, "Lemon no Iremon," surpassed 10,000 views on YouTube within a month, showcasing his talent. He gained further attention with his appearance on TV Tokyo's "Can I Follow You Home?" He also appeared in Abema TV's original HipHop drama, "Metropolitan Police Department Narcotics Control Division MOGURA."
