Q'HEY is the head of the label "MOON AGE RECORDINGS." He organizes "REBOOT," the longest-running techno party in Japan, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, as well as the label party "MOON AGE." As a resident DJ at the highly respected outdoor festival "METAMORPHOSE" and the monster beach party "Maniac Beach," he is a leading figure in the Japanese techno scene, always active at the forefront. He frequently performs in Asian countries such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, South Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia, as well as European countries such as Belgium, Spain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, and Luxembourg. In 1998, he started his own label, "MOON AGE RECORDINGS," and his works have been highly praised worldwide, appearing in the playlists of DJs who support the scene, such as CARL COX, SVEN VATH, and MARCO BAILEY. He has also released works on Belgian label MB ELEKTRONICS and Spanish label PORNOGRAPHIC, and has released two albums: Q'HEY + REBOOT "ELECTRIC EYE ON ME" and Q'HEY + SHIN "PLANETARY ALLIANCE." He has also released three singles as the unit "Q-RAM" with RAMON ZENKER of HARDFLOOR. His mix CDs, "SOUND REPUBLIC" (KSR), "REBOOT #001" (KSR), and "NYSO VOL.1 : DJ Q'HEY" (YENZO MUSIC), all showcasing his skills using three turntables, have recorded good sales. In response to the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, he established the charity project "BPM Japan - Be Positive by Music Japan." He is working to donate the proceeds from compilation albums and event planning as donations to the victims. In 2012, he performed at Fuji Rock Festival. In 2013, he held a 15th anniversary tour of REBOOT in 11 locations in Japan. He also participated as a remixer in JEFF MILLS' new album "WHERE LIGHT ENDS." After releasing EPs and remixes from the new Japanese label "TORQUE," he released the album "CORE," which reached 6th place on the Beatport techno chart and recorded good sales worldwide. He also hosts the program "radio REBOOT" every Tuesday on the internet radio station block.fm.
