奇妙礼太郎
The 10th live performance on June 10th was one I couldn't miss. Knowing it was a band set at Tokyo Kinema Club with Daiki Matsuura as support, I immediately applied for a ticket. It was my first time at Kinema Club since last year's showmore performance. I went to the venue thinking Reitaro Kimyo would undoubtedly be a musician perfectly suited for this venue. I had no idea that the main fanbase was female, and it had been a while since I felt so out of place while waiting in line on the first floor, haha. I had assumed there would be more male fans. It was a fantastic live show, but I failed to position myself well, so I couldn't see Daiki Matsuura's drumming at all, which was a shame. The improvised "JAF Men" song he sang during the second encore was incredibly cool, and I wish he'd make a recording of it. Lyrics like, "Come replace my dead battery - blazing, gleaming, throbbing, cracking - but I'd be in trouble if it actually caught fire!" made me think he truly has a gift. Also, I didn't think he'd do any covers this time, but it was a pleasant surprise to hear SWEET MEMORIES during the third encore. I was lucky.
